Villa boat delivery
Boat delivery to your Cape Coral vacation villa
How villa delivery works
After booking, delivery timing is coordinated based on your schedule. The captain brings the boat to your villa dock, ties it off, and walks you through everything: engine, throttle, GPS, VHF radio, navigation lights, safety equipment, and the canal route to open water. The orientation takes about 20–30 minutes.
At the end of your rental, return the boat to your dock and tie it up. Pickup happens after your rental window ends—no need to be present. You receive emergency contact information and local navigation tips specific to your villa’s canal network.
What your dock needs
Cape Coral’s 400+ miles of canals vary in width and depth. Your dock should accommodate the boat’s length (most rentals are 22–32 feet) and have enough water depth at low tide (at least 2–3 feet for most boats). Check for cleats or pilings for tie-off.
Some canals have fixed bridges between the dock and open water—confirm the clearance height for your chosen boat. Canals that connect directly to the Caloosahatchee River give the most flexible access. If unsure, share your villa address during booking and the team will confirm compatibility.
Best boats for villa delivery
Pontoons are the most popular villa-delivery choice: low draft floats in shallow residential canals, the flat hull sits alongside standard dock pilings, and the wide deck makes step-on boarding from a low dock effortless.
If your day plan includes Sanibel or further, a deeper-hull boat like the Aurora 28 can also be delivered to most villa docks—just confirm the dock can handle the beam width and draft. The concierge can match the right boat to your specific dock setup.
